HOW THE CONTEST WORKS

STEP 1:  Nominate your favorite, eligible Metro-Detroit charity. Nomination is open until 9:00AM, Friday, July 14, 2017.

STEP 2:  We will reach out to confirm your nomination and verify the organization's location, 501c3 non-profit status, and eligibility.

STEP 3:  Vote for your charity every day! Voting will open on this webpage beginning Monday, July 17 at 8:00AM, and will close on Friday, July 28, 2017 at 5:00PM. Invite your family and friends to join in. You can vote once per day on each of your devices.

STEP 4:  The charitable organization receiving the highest number of votes will receive a $5,500.00 donation from O'Brien Construction! We will announce the winner online and via email on Tuesday, August 1, 2017.

STEP 5:  A representative from the winning non-profit organization will be presented with a donation check at our location in Troy, Michigan on Friday, August 11, 2017. If your nominated charity wins, you are invited to attend this presentation.

Note: O'Brien Construction Company, Inc. reserves the right to omit any nominated organization who fails to meet eligibility requirements.

With 32 non-profits in the running, we received over 29,000 votes! Touched by the overwhelming response, Tim O’Brien has decided to also award $550 donations to the non-profits in second through fifth place.
